LH8 - EOTC

Yay! The trip we were looking forward to! The Auckland Zoo. We went exploring and saw so many animals: Monkeys, Wallabies, Ostrich, Zebras and many more.
We also had a special session at the Education Centre,
where we learned all about bugs and explored the Bugs Lab together in small groups.
The weather was kind to us, so it didn't rain down on us, there were only a few shower drops briefly. So we didn't need our rain coats for long. Although it was handy having them. It was our first school trip and we enjoyed it!

We were so lucky to have a visit to the Bugs Lab as it was the last day at the bugs lab! We saw some amazing displays and learned so much bugs and classification.

We saw so many animals, tiger, lions, Giraffes, Zebras and these cute baby tortoises.

We had a session in the Education Centre at the Zoo - All about Bugs. We sang "Head, thorax, abdomen..." (sang in the tune of head, shoulders, knees and toes..). We all joined in and enjoyed it.

We enjoyed putting the different parts of the bugs together. We worked in small teams. What a fun activity at the Zoo Educational Centre.

We saw REAL lion skin! What sharp claws it has!!

Shhh....the Lizards are sleeping!
